Project Manager: Summer Residency
Prashant More, a performing artist, Choreographer and a dance teacher from Pune, India. From early age I was involved in various physical practices from sports, dance to Martial arts. Studied Movement arts and worked for a dance company, where I performed, toured and taught contemporary dance and martial arts for community within India and Europe. Since a couple of years I have been travelling within Europe and Asia, to enhance my knowledge in contemporary art/dance, presenting my works and sharing my practices through teaching. Also I am engaged in my own movement research practices in finding organic ways of moving .
Collaborators
Atul Kumar, born in Patna, Bihar, a performer, choreographer and visual artist. Trained in Hip Hop, Contemporary and several physical movement techniques. Have been dancing professionally for past 3 years. Currently works as Creative Head of Left Foot Right Danceworks company, a freelance artist and a UX Designer in an IT company.
He has been working and researching with several techniques to come up with his own technique to develop tools and methodology for content and composion creaon. Has been working and performing in an improvisation and contact improvisation forums.
Also a visual arstist and have worked with artists such as Matej Kezar and Nakula Somana, as a set designer and visual arst, for their projects in India.
Ronita Mookerji, Born in Kolkata, trained in Bharatanatyam(Tanjavur Style) since the age of 5 years and did my Arangetram in 2005 in Kolkata. Also trained in Odissa for 2 years. In 2008, I did Diploma in Movement Arts and Mixed Media from Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts,Bangalore. Worked as a Dancer/Performer/Choreographer/Facilitator in the Attakkalari Dance Repertoire from 2009 to 2016. Have performed in Japan, Korea, Australia and Germany,etc in various Dance Productions and Own Choreographies. At present, working as a freelance Movement and Performing Artist in Bangalore and extensively teaching Contemporary Dance and focussing on creating more dance work. A Graduate in Microbiology Honours from St. Xavier's College, Kolkata and also trained in Hindusthani Classical Music and Carnatic Music.
Deepak Kurki Shivaswamy a Contemporary performing artist from Bangalore India has been engaged in artistic work as a performer, creator and teacher since year 2000. Trained and worked with dance companies like Attakkaliari in India, Bodhi project in Austria, Danshuisstationzuid in Netherlands, Hausgemacht in Germany and completed a post graduate diploma in choreography at S.E.A.D in Austria in 2008. His dance creations have been showcased in venues in India and Europe. Presently based in Bangalore India, and is a co-founder of a art collective The Kha Foundation.
